I have been teaching students to read, write, and speak English for twenty years. Now I want to individualize that process by tutoring those students who want extra practice, or just need extra time to perfect their English language or learning skills. I tutor not only language learners but also students who want to become better readers, writers, and speakers, even if English is their first language. No matter where we go in life, having the ability to express ourselves is a valuable skill.

Look at these two photographs. Write down as many vocabulary words that come to mind that would help you describe what you see.
Writing is difficult if a student does not practice. Part of what I teach is how to critically read your own writing and then rewrite. A student must also expand their vocabulary. Again reading for understanding is terribly important, as is writing for clear and concise meaning. Each day, I will post a new vocabulary word that you can learn and then try to use it in your writing.
